First week of February 2013

The ground hog said 6 weeks until spring!!!!!!  I'm looking forward to the nice weather! 

• This week the students will be giving their speeches in class, and I can't wait to hear them.  3 students will be chosen to represent the 4th grade at the Merced County Speech Festival later this month.

• There will be an English test on capitalization and punctuation this Friday.  

• We will be having a math test on Ch 5/Division next Monday.

• Book Projects will be due next Monday- Students must be ready to present their projects to the class starting Monday2/11.

Religion- Lent begins this Wednesday - Ash Wednesday

Reading
Students will be giving their speeches all week. A final draft- typed- will be Due this Friday 2/8.
Students will be given a grade in English for the writing, and in reading for the oral presentation.

Progress reports go home this Friday.  They must be signed and returned by Monday 2/11.  Thank you very much!
