I want to thank my students for their enthusiasm and great behavior last Thursday on our field trip!!! I also want to sincerely thank my wonderful parents who are always so wonderful to work and spend time with.  It was a wonderful trip !

This week is a busy week!  We will have a math test on Tuesday and our field trip is this Thursday.

Field trip

• be at school by 7:50 Am our departure will be after prayer at 8:15
• free dress- blue and white
• bring a sack lunch
• snacks will be provided
• we should be back around 3:30

Talent show

• If you are planning to try out for the talent show- be ready will lyrics and outfits on Tuesday this week

Computer club trip

• If you are going on the computer club trip this Friday, you need to get the work you will miss that day.  Please have the work done by Monday 4/30.

Make up spelling test will be on Monday

If you are absent , please call daily for work 

Thank you for your patience regarding the donations for the Bliss family.  I appreciated that wonderful support so many of you gave.  The money was given to the Bliss trust fund- and was tracked by Teresa in the office, so each family would be recognized.  Thank you so much!!!!!!

Welcome back!!!  I hope everyone had a blessed Easter and restful spring  break!  We are coming up the home stretch ..........Summer's right around the corner!  We have lots of work to accomplish.  Make sure that you are keeping up with option C for missing work.  Many students have been forgetting to or not completing their assignments and getting them on time.  This really will affect their final grade as well as their effort grade.  When your child is absent they must get their absent work turned in to me when they return.  If the assignment is completed in a workbook, they must give me the workbooks to correct.  Thank you for your support on this matter. 

Our field trip is right around the corner! Yeah!  Thursday, April 26, 2012 we will be going to Mariposa on a Via bus.  This day is both fun and educational.  I have pulled 13 names of parents who will accompany the class on the bus.  The nine remaining parents will be asked to carpool to Mariposa to meet us.  These parents are:

Holy Week

Free dress Monday in honor of Mercy's birthday!  Bring a dollar to donate to the SPCA- in honor of our mascot, Mercy!!!!

Because we are taking a VIA bus there will be a drawing to decide which parents will be riding with the class. I will be posting the names on my next blog.  The rest of the parents will be asked to ride share to Mariposa.  If you have not sent back your child's permission slip please do so ASAP!

Conference week 3/19 to 3/22

Exciting News........... We will be taking a VIA bus to Mariposa!!!!   All parents can still go, but you will not have to drive students.  Some parents will be able to go on the bus, and the rest can carpool.  The students are so excited!!! Thanks to a parent the ride is free of charge- unless you want to contribute. 

I will not be giving a science test due to the short week, but there still will be an English test on Thursday. 

The spring program is fast approaching and the students will be singing two songs.  They can the song sheets and are asked to practice at home.  The program will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012.  It will be at OLM in the auditorium.  The time will be announced later. 

I am looking forward to meeting with you for your child's conference.  Please don't forget to visit our BOOK FAIR!!!

Our Mass last Friday went very well !  My students were Awesome!!!!! 4th grade ROCKS!!!
