last week of school!!!!!

Well..........We made it!!!! I'm so proud of each of my students!!! Now it's on to 5th grade!
Reminder any books that belong to the school must be returned.  Please make sure to bring in backpacks this week, we will be cleaning and sending things home. 

I am in need of clorox wipes for cleaning day..........If you can send some in that would be great.
Wednesday is cleaning day.  Thursday is field day.  Please note lunch will be provided that day.
Students will need to bring in a cold lunch Monday thru Wednesday.......No hot lunch will be provided.
Thursday/field day is also a free dress day. 

Thanks for allowing me to teach your children!!!! I love them like my very own!  Also , your support has been so appreciated- from sending in supplies to volunteering your time in the classroom- I couldn't have done it without each of you.  We are all better for it!!!!! They say, " It takes a village to raise a child."  That is so true- THANKS AGAIN!

I want to thank my students for their enthusiasm and great behavior last Thursday on our field trip!!! I also want to sincerely thank my wonderful parents who are always so wonderful to work and spend time with.  It was a wonderful trip !

This week is a busy week!  We will have a math test on Tuesday and our field trip is this Thursday.

Field trip

• be at school by 7:50 Am our departure will be after prayer at 8:15

Talent show

• If you are planning to try out for the talent show- be ready will lyrics and outfits on Tuesday this week

Computer club trip

• If you are going on the computer club trip this Friday, you need to get the work you will miss that day.  Please have the work done by Monday 4/30.

Welcome back!!!  I hope everyone had a blessed Easter and restful spring  break!  We are coming up the home stretch ..........Summer's right around the corner!  We have lots of work to accomplish.  Make sure that you are keeping up with option C for missing work.  Many students have been forgetting to or not completing their assignments and getting them on time.  This really will affect their final grade as well as their effort grade.  When your child is absent they must get their absent work turned in to me when they return.  If the assignment is completed in a workbook, they must give me the workbooks to correct.  Thank you for your support on this matter. 

Our field trip is right around the corner! Yeah!  Thursday, April 26, 2012 we will be going to Mariposa on a Via bus.  This day is both fun and educational.  I have pulled 13 names of parents who will accompany the class on the bus.  The nine remaining parents will be asked to carpool to Mariposa to meet us.  These parents are:

Holy Week

Free dress Monday in honor of Mercy's birthday!  Bring a dollar to donate to the SPCA- in honor of our mascot, Mercy!!!!

Because we are taking a VIA bus there will be a drawing to decide which parents will be riding with the class. I will be posting the names on my next blog.  The rest of the parents will be asked to ride share to Mariposa.  If you have not sent back your child's permission slip please do so ASAP!
